Weakest or Worst Zoo in the UK?

I can think of a few closed collections I visited which, in my opinion, could compete for a title of "worst zoo in the UK" - Tenby, Rhyl, Bridgemere. Happily standards at the bottom end have been dragged up over the years.

I'm curious too, as I live not too far away... I know of the nice little aquarium but a zoo? Where would that have even been?

Rhyl Seaquarium is one of 4 ZTL collections with Hawaiian squirrelfish and one of 3 with Cross' damsels, blackeye thicklips and flameback angelfish and the only one with black breams

The 1961-1970s one above a market was the one I had in mind. Visited it (once) c.1971/2. It was poor.

A decade ago, I would have easily said Ponderosa Zoo after seeing things like this:

Thankfully, the zoo has improved substantially in recent years, so credit to them.
