Copy-pasted below is the description of this webinar.

"This webinar was recorded November 16th, 2016. Once extirpated from Pennsylvania's forests, fisher have returned to their native range. Pennsylvania Game Commission biologist Matt Lovallo describes the recovery of Fisher populations and the ecology and behavior of the fisher. The future role of the fisher as a forest predator in the northeastern United States is also addressed."

Wouldn't dream of doing so with cougars though.

Ok, I hope this doesn't sound like a dumb question, but why is that?

Did you by any chance hear of plans to reintroduce Mountain lions in Pennsylvania or do you think they will get there on their own?

Most people in PA are 1000% percent convinced there's already cougars terrorizing them, anyway.

Because why would they reintroduce something that preys on their cash cow, the white-tailed deer? That would anger the people paying them.

They have no intention of doing so, and I'm highly pessimistic about them recolonizing the state on their own.
