Welt der Gifte (Salzburg) Welt der Gifte Salzburg - News and Discussion

Likewise! I very much appreciate you fitting us into your extremely busy week as you prepped for Hamm. I had a blast and wished we could have spent longer :)

Sorry that I couldn't spend more time with you; it has been quite the week, and this one continues that way.
Just an hour ago I released my probably last native snake for this season: a juvenile smooth snake (Coronella austriaca) that had ended up in a dentist's office close to Salzburg's historical fortress. Probably wanted to arrange a dental check appointment before hibernation.

Whew, what a week. I just spent the last two days catching and transporting almost 30 snakes, half of them mambas, from a run-down flat (owner died of unrelated health issue) to a safe location. And now I'm off to catch and transport the aforementioned Mangshan viper from Germany to Austria. Never a boring day...

Batto, you do wildlife rehabilitation? Or is it that sort of thing where you're on-call and people call you to relocate snakes?
