Werribee Open Range Zoo werribee animals

Forgot to post. I think the new giraffe when on display about a week ago. The rhino and antelope(?) will be kept OFF display until they settle in.. not sure how long! I think one of the reasons why it's taken a LITTLE longer to get them out is because the giraffe actually broke out of quarantine one morning a few weeks ago.. :p
 
Think all the animals are out and mingling now :) Girrafe are happy together, and I believe they are doing ok with the Rhino.
 
wow. haven't been on for a while. I saw the Giraffe the other day. They seem to be doing fine. Though they are still quite small!

Also it appears that the servals will NOT be going on public display :O But rather a 'behind the scenes' thing :\ which means that Werribee's next big thing will be the baboons and or gorillas.
 
well now I'm not 100% sure about baboons. I think they wanted to take them from Melbourne, because Melbourne's enclosure is :\ but now, could only be gorillas on the drawing board!
