West African Animals in Zoos; list a few

Another West-African country which is well-known by tourists is the Gambia and here also bird-watching is more rewarding as big-game-watching ( maybe because there is hardly any big-game ;) ). I did however saw my first wild Hippos in the Gambia ( they ARE quite big game ).

I can list:

-Pygmy hippopotamus (Nigerian subspecies - ever held in a zoo?)
-Western giant eland
-Kordofan giraffe
-Western chimpanzee
-Diana monkey
-Senegal parrot
-Western green mamba
-Western slender snouted crocodile

-West African leopard?

How I can not list the Drill? I thought it's native range is also in Congo basin, but it turns out that not, it's range is spanning on less than 40,000 km2, in Nigeria, Cameroon and Bioko Island (part of Equatorial Guinea). Range as part not typical Western Africa, but more like central equatorial Africa.

One problem is the well-known 'Nigerian fraud'. Some zoos received internet offers to import animals from West Africa, but they believed it was scam.
