2. At least three were, I'd have to check my photos to consider whether the fourth one was;

I've found since that four Wildebeest was their total then( there's been a female calf born 3st July, since your visit). But also that they were 1.3. so either their own or the ex Marwell male has died or gone somewhere else( could presumably only be Trotters in the UK).

Does anyone know what happened to this second male and /or which one they still have?

And regarding the cormorants; that's the same place that I saw them a few years ago as well!

After a visit this morning I can safely say that the cormorants DO leave the cliff, one of them was on Penguin Beach. Unfortunately it was very badly placed so I only managed to photograph the other one... On the cliff!
