What animals have you been “ attacked” by

Also was recently attacked by Butcherbirds. One of the chicks was on the floor and I had a piece of scaffolding wood on my head and picked the chick up and ran. The wood was flung off my head and they simultaneously struck me on the head.

Why'd you pick up the chick? Probably would have been fine if you hadn't.

I thought you only had 5 bears left in Australia? Where do the miners get them from? :p

It's really not that bad, provided it misses eyes, nose, and mouth... there's a lot of worse things to be pooped on by.

Lorikeet poop is much worse than say seagull poo, most likely because all lorikeets do is eat and screech.

Secondly it actually got me on the nose.

Thirdly, the smell of the poo was comparable to Bearded Dragon scat, which is pretty smelly.

While a nose hit is definitely unfortunate, I think I have to disagree on the nasty level. I would much rather be pooped on by a lory than a gull. At least the lory poop washes out easy and personally I don't think it smells all that bad.

here is some pain by animals I had.

1. I been scratched and bit (playfully) by my cats.
2. Bit by a ton of mosquitoes.
3. My leopard gecko bit me.
4. My bearded dragon scratched me (left a bad scratch mark)
5. Bit by ants.
6. Superworm bit me when I was trying to feed to my one of reptiles. (Not painful)
7. my family’s dogs scratched me.

1. Bitten by a fire ant outside my home.

2. An aggressive cockatiel chased me while on the ground when I was in the Sea Life Hawaii's aviary. I was also bitten by a different individual on a separate trip.

3. Chased by a hornet/yellow jacket numerous times outside my school. I think it was the same individual each time.

4. Almost hit in the face by the trunk of an African Elephant.

5. Pooped on by an Australian White Ibis while on vacation.

6. Almost bitten by a horse, while trying to feed it.

7. Potentially stung by a Portuguese Man O' War. I don't remember seeing one sting me, but I was at the beach, and lots of them were washed up on the shore. I remember being pounded by a huge wave, so maybe one just brushed my leg. My leg had no bruises, and only hurt a tiny bit for a few hours.

8. Scratched numerous times by the talons of parrots, while putting them on my arms for pictures at county fairs.

9. Scratched in the face by a friend's cat.

Best one was a guira cuckoo in a walkthrough exhibit. Followed me for an hour if not two on and off.

Today I had a piece of Reindeer antler embed itself in my hand! I collected the antler in Finland years ago, and today I was rearranging my bookcases because I had to move them for some house repairs. As I was adjusting shelves, I must have dislodged the antler, and a piece from the slightly chewed end broke off between my finger and thumb. Fortunately it was an easy splinter to remove!

I accidentally bumped into a deer (literally) recently.

Don't have much experiences with animals attacking me, I'm usually very good with handling animals outside. I could have been attacked a number of times but I was able to either evade or handle the animals properly.

I'm curious, do you have examples of the instances you referred to earlier?
Yep! I dragged a snapping turtle across the road to a pond that was very close by (by close by I mean like a 7 second walk).
I have had run ins with Non-venemous snakes in my garden, (but honestly not that of a good example, garter snakes are completely harmless)
So I guess there really aren't that many examples but plenty of Opportunities to come! I'm really excited when its summertime, because I just can't wait to find awesome animals.

I'm prepared! ;)
Or more rather I'm willing to do any animal-related tasks I that are given to me. ;)

  1. My cat bites/claws me a bit when we’re playing.
  2. I guess the mosquitoes decided that I have top shelf blood.
  3. Have a bump on my right middle finger from an ant bite (I can share the story if you’d like; it’s also quite funny)
  4. When playing my sister’s old dog accidentally scratched me Ian Malcom style.
  5. Got bitten by a pig at the Texas State Fair (Felt like a bite from my sister’s puggle; therefore strengthening my belief that pugs are essentially pigs disguised as dogs).
