What animals have you been “ attacked” by

About a month ago, I was standing outside talking to someone when I began feeling a stinging sensation on my left ankle. I look down and a buck moth caterpillar had gotten on my shoe and was trying to crawl up my leg. I quickly flicked it off with a stick and I ended up having an itchy blister for a week. This was the same ankle I had gotten several fire ant bites on the week prior.

-Stung by both bees and yellow jackets
-Scratched by MANY cats, (both my own and ferals)
-scratched by a fox while trying to rescue a chicken being attacked
-spurred by our mean rooster multiple times
-bitten by our puppy while she was teething
-Dive-bombed by a pair of mockingbirds

To add to this list, I haven’t been involved, but I surely hope that I never will, but I saw I horrific pit bull attack. A man at a dog rescue that I volunteer at had a boxer on a leash, and was going to introduce the dog to a pit bull that he was intending to foster. The pit bull LUNGED at the dog and locked its jaws on his arm instead, taking minutes to pull off. (Luckily it only left a few bite marks) Even though I don’t usually “hate” any animal species, I really REALLY want to see Pit Bulls banned in the USA, similar to legislation in the UK.

-Too many penguin bites to count; they surprisingly are quite painful, they will grab onto you and then pull and twist the skin. And somehow they know exactly the worst places to bite...
-Multiple flamingos attacking me while transporting to different exhibit, pulling my hair and biting my arms and neck
-Ruddy duck, also while transporting. Left me with some mean bruises for such a little animal LOL
-Turtle who got my finger while I was moving him
-Not an attack, because she wasn't doing it on purpose but a 300-lb Galapagos tortoise stepped on my foot. Ouch!

- Fire Ants
- Domestic Cats scratches and chased by a few Domestic Dogs
- Ticks in the Costa Rican Rainforest
- Slapped by the fin of a Galapagos Sea Lion while snorkeling(actually almost knocked my mask off my face!)
- Bitten by my own Russian Tortoise as I wasn't paying attention to her while my hands still smelled like her food.
- Mosquitos but I think everyone has experienced this one at least once.
- scratched by a Rooster
- headbutted by a domestic goat
- bitten by feeder crickets and superworms.
- not an attack but I've been pooped on by several species of birds from budgies to lorikeets to egrets
- and most recently, stung by a european honeybee while doing fieldwork at night
