What animals would you add or remove from a zoo/aquarium and why?

For general suggestions... I'm not wild about cetacean captivity. Of course, I make exception for rescue cases and legitimate conservation efforts.

I'm hoping that the facilities currently keeping pangolins find success with it. I think pangolins could really benefit from the spotlight that a zoo presence brings.

I will say (in an effort to stay on topic lol) that I wish the MN zoo had a great ape. Como's got two- gorillas and orangutans- and while there was some talk last decade about adding an orangutan program to the MN zoo, nothing ever came of it. There's a pretty solid variety of other primates (Colobus, De Brazza's, gold lion tamarin, lemurs, snow monkeys, and white-cheeked gibbons) but no great apes! In general though I find the MN zoo lacking in ABC species compared to Como- despite the Minnesota zoo having much more robust and enriched enclosures/facilities. No lions, no giraffes, no zebras...
Como has 8 gorillas and 3 orangutans

Sorry, "two" as in two species of great ape, not 2 individuals. but yes lol while I am familiar with- and quite enjoy!- Como's primate selection, i wish the Minnesota Zoo specifically had some great apes. I prefer the MN zoo's general atmosphere and their style of exhibit, and would love to see some of my favorite animals at my favorite in-state zoo : )
