Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo What are ALL the mammals Omaha Zoo CURRENTLY have?

Okay so I am writing down all the mammals omaha zoo has currently. I been on their website a million times and there is not a animal page, yes there is a exhibit page but the exhibit doesn't list most just gives a generalization of the species that are at the zoo. So I decide to write down the ones I found lives there currently I believe by going on their facebook, and checking it out. I am sure I didn't get all of them, but that's why I am coming on here to ask if anyone knows any that are missing from my MAMMAL ONLY list or any errors in this list? I just wanted to do this because Omaha Zoo is my fav zoo in the entire world, and I only been there once and since my last visit they improved alot so I wanted to do this list okay this is what I have:

So is this all correct and what other mammals not on this list does Omaha Zoo have CURRENTLY and please do not count animal ambassaders since they are usually not on exhibit all the time. thanks :)
 
microbats are mostly the smaller bats. fruit eating bats are more the megabats
not exactly, but mostly.

So then do you know what species in practicular that I don't currently have on my list that are in the microbat family?? That they have
 
short tailed bats (at least) according to this
Kingdoms of the Night

but that might be what you have listed as short tailed fruit bats.
I dunno haven't been to Omaha yet but I have read that they
had several species in Kingdom of the Night.

Yeah I already have that one listed :p. I know they have several too I was there a while back but can't remeber what bats. (Another group I struggle to find out are the primates cause they also have lots of primates as well)
 
Might want to have posted under the United States forum. Can a mod do that?

Now onto my next question: Does omaha zoo have black-footed cats?? Or are they just a animal they plan on saving? Cause I saw somewhere that omaha zoo is planning on something on saving black-footed cat, but I can't really find anything on them having any in their collection? I also have a photo of a cat in the desert dome back in 2013 but unsure if its a black-footed cat cause it's curled in a ball and sleeping... here is my photo: I can't tell which cat it is, but mabye someone here can telll if it is a black-fotted cat or if it's a different species? I took this photo back in 2013, so it might of moved I am not sure. Omaha zoo has so many animals that it's hard finding out their minor animals because they never have the full list on their site T-T. Sorry for the photo being bad, I was 15-16 when I took this, now I am 20 and gotten much better at photography.

Okay next question what species of otters do they currently have? I know they have African Spotted-neck otter, but last time I went they also had north american river otters too but I am unsure if they still do since they are renovating the area where those otters were in a food court area. I also feel like they have asian small clawed otter but idk if I confused it with another zoo?
 
I don't remember North American River Otters, they have Asian Small-Clawed Otters too. They also have Angolan Colobus.

okay thanks! I went back in 2013 so it been a while :P. What other primates do they have that I didn't list in my original post?
 
@Jena On my 16 day, 50 zoo trip this summer (Snowleopard's 2018 Road Trip) I have a 6,200 word essay on Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo right near the end of that thread. There is a listing of many of the mammals that I saw that day at the zoo, including a number of bat species within Kingdoms of the Night. That information could help you in your search.

two things one THANK YOUUU. and another thing, hold up your telling me you went to 50 zoos in 16 days? You have no idea how much I envy that right now so luckyyyy
 
Anyone been behind the scenes at their facility Lee Simmons Conservation Park? I want to see their herd of Gaur that's the largest in the country.
