what are the best reptile houses in zoos or stand-alone in europe

In France, the ‘Ferme aux crocodile’ is a very good place to see these amphibians.
Otherwise, the ZooParc Planet Exotica features hundreds of reptiles over several hectares... I've never visited it, but it looks really good.
I don't have much experience of it, but there you go.:)

As a stand alone collection i would bring up Reptile Zoo Nockalm at Austria with an incredible species line up regarding venomous snakes and pretty good exhibits. (Although it is very specialized, e.g. they don't have any species of turtle)

Krokodillen Zoo in Denmark has all species of crocodiles. I haven't visited, but it is on my wishlist.

Servion Zoo had the largest Komodo Dragon and Siamese crocodile i've ever seen and a nice collection

Furthermore i personally prefer reptile exhibits to be part of a ecodisplay like the watermonitor and reticulated python exhibits at Burgers Rimba for example.

A minor correction, as both zoos are literally next to each other: the reptiles can be seen in Servion Tropicarium, not in Servion Zoo.
