Very curious about what others do to assist animals and or conservation efforts.

I
Make a small regular financial donation to animal conservation.
1 day per fortnight volunteering in a animal conservation program.
Avoid paper cups.
Adopted a adult cat from a pet shelter.
Made a conscious decision to not have AC in my home.

Being in a financial bind makes donating difficult sometimes but I manage to do it occasionally. I also try to unplug things and turn off lights/other machines when they're not in use and I try not to let water run. I also want to start getting into the zoo volunteering game.

I raise awareness mostly to family but my father posted something I forwarded him (either an email from the WWF or NWF) on Facebook and apparently is got a lot of people to sign the petition they had emailed me about!
