always thought about this, do any of you email the pictures you have captured at the zoo?

ive never have just thought would be nice if i did or not, is it appreciated?

Generally saying, yeah, they usually appreciate it. They won't necessarily post them on their social media accounts, so if you want to got some exposure it isn't really the best strategy. But they keep them and who knows if some of them are good, they might bee useful to them and they might actually use it someday in some publication or something like that.

What I also do is that I print my own postcards and sell them/exchange them with collectors around me.

I mostly use mine on my social media channels. That has led to multiple zoos and several keeper associations using my photos on their own social media, as well as in several printed works.

I also do share my work with other photographers via online channels.

I use to post some photos on here, however I don't like that I can't elect to remove those photos in the future and thus no longer share on here.

Zoo photos I usually just post to this site, if they are any good.

Wildlife photos go to iNaturalist or eBird/Macaulay Library (and sometimes both).

I do pretty much the same thing, although I've never uploaded to iNaturalist.
You should, it's a great site. In many ways it is superior to eBird, mostly because it is more of a community of naturalists rather than a citizen science project (though it really is both).

I upload the nicer ones to my Instagram, and then those along with exhibit photos to ZooChat. Being a uni student, they also come in handy for me and my friends to use for various projects... the odd lecturer has asked for some to use in their presentations too!

Exhibit pictures I post here and on the Planet Zoo Discord server.

On the PZ Discord server I also post animal pictures. My phone isn't good enough for professional-quality photos.
