What does your Avatar/Profile Picture mean?

Mine is Jarang, the newborn baby orangutan at Blackpool Zoo. It's an homage to one of my favourite animals in my favourite zoo. The list memories I have in that place is endless and ever growing! Thank you Blackpool for making my childhood great :)

Mine is my uniform that I wear in the pipe and drum band that I am in and it’s an homage to my Scottish heritage/ancestors and also my love for Scotland.

Is that recent heritage, or the USA "one person about six or seven generations ago" flavour? :)

I am not exactly sure but I wear the uniform because I am in a pipe and drum band and it’s the uniform that we wear in parades but the clothing was mostly worn by people in Scotland but people in America wore it starting in the 1700s and still do and anyone can wear the uniform that I am wearing however the red feather piece on my hat only my band and the black watch can wear it and originally my band couldn’t wear it however the queen mother said that my band has the permission from the Royal family of the United Kingdom to wear the red feather and the red feather thing is only associated with the black watch and I wear it because the band that I am in is called the Atlantic watch and it’s named after the black watch hopefully that answers your question.

It’s a Pygmy marmoset because they (along with callitrichidae in general) are simply amazing.
I completely agree with what you are saying about The Family Callitichidae being simply amazing because that family has some of my favorite monkeys found in the new world aka the Americas and these monkeys include the Pygmy marmoset, Emperor tamarin, Cotton Top Tamarin, Lion Tamarins, Common Marmoset, The Goeldis Monkey and many others.

Mine are a pair of Oryzias javanicus or Javan Ricefish, which I used to keep a school of some time ago. Though they aren't uncommon to my area, I still think they're lovely fish worth appreciating, same as any non-charimatic animals we find at zoos.

My avatar is a Przewalski's horse. I love and adore equids in general, but P-Horses occupy a special spot in my heart thanks to their amazing comeback story. Plus, you know, the cloning. Lol.
