What does your user-name mean?

It's the genus of the California legless lizard species. Given I am a long time herpetology enthusiast, and I love California's natural history, it was very appropriate.
Interesting. I thought it was your actual name, I mean it'd be an odd name but I go to school with a kid named Nightshade Dawnshadow so I suppose there is no such thing as a "normal name" anymore.
You should have Manatee Rex. :p
@birdsandbats Henceforth you may call me that.

I'll explain my username too.
The Z stands for zoos are
The P stands for places that people can go to be educated of the way of life of multi-celled organisms found in the wild brought to these said places for educational purposes. These organisms are more commonly known as
The A stands for animals

I choose the name BlackFootedBeast due to the fact I decided to use a photo of a Black Footed Cat, I'm considering changing my name to BFBeast

Mine is a combination of my nickname in high school (Obi or Obeast) and the randomly generated nickname my personal character in the video game XCOM Enemy Unknown received the first time I played the game (Echo).

Mine comes from a name I developed by playing some stupid browser game (I forget which one). Originally the name was AsDad but I kept forgetting the name I was using and scrambling it. In the end I got Adsa which stuck with me ever since. The parentheses are just for fun and so people will remember me as “the guy with parentheses around his name”

Hah, I don't really know why I picked this name. Rattlesnakes are cool, I guess, they're not my favorite animals. If I wanted to do that I'd be called Architeuthis. But I'm not changing it now! Also maybe because Henry Doorly's rattlesnake exhibits in Desert Dome are some that I very clearly remember.

I really love amphibian species and enjoy a good amphibian exhibit. When Shedd Aquarium had their Amphibians! exhibit I was so excited. Lake Titicaca frogs at Brookfield Zoo now? Fantastic.

Also, I am a dude.
