I mean what mammals do European zoos have that the US zoos never haveI'm not understanding what you're asking here, could you try to re-phrase your question?
I heard Coquerel's Sifaka got imported to Europe from the USA, which was the first time live in Europe a few years ago. It makes me have questions like I don’t understand why the USA didn’t get crowned sifakas too. It’s just low taste and unfair in my opinion. The US focuses on the Amur leopard subspecies, while Europe has multiple subspecies including North Chinese.
Europe has Asian lion, the US does not.
I don't know any special details on lemurs, but my suspicion is the AZA wanted to focus on one sifaka species and chose their Coquerel's -- similar to the leopard situation, where the AZA made a judgement only one leopard subspecies could be supported here with sufficient diversity, while the EAZA feels they can manage multiple.I heard Coquerel's Sifaka got imported to Europe from the USA, which was the first time in Europe a few years ago. I mean If they can breed two ruffed lemur species so it can be possible for 2 sifaka species tooI don't know any special details on lemurs, but my suspicion is the AZA wanted to focus on one sifaka species and chose their Coquerel's -- similar to the leopard situation, where the AZA made a judgement only one leopard subspecies could be supported here with sufficient diversity, while the EAZA feels they can manage multiple.

Do we actually know the population of captive crowned sifakas in Europe?Maybe you should first do some research instead of any emotional statements. There are 0 crowned sifaka available as the European population is very small and every animal is needed to ensure survival in Europe. Coquerel sifaka population in the USA is much bigger.
Ruffed lemur and sifaka are also not comparable in the slightest when it comes to husbandry...

Oh that's understandable, thank youYes we do, and it stands at roughly 15 crowned sifaka in total, with 6 births in the past 5 years.
