What is your relationship like with the animals you work with? Is it like a parent-child relationship? Or is it like a sibling relationship? Or a friendship relationship? Do animals only like their keepers because they give them food, or is there a deeper connection between you and your animals?
I am especially interested in zookeeper relationships with highly intelligent animals, such as elephants and great apes.
