What are profile postings? I saw it at the top of my account page and don’t know what it is or how to post.

I believe it was because people thought the messages were private and in fact were not, but Sim' would know better than I.

Yes @birdsandbats is correct - people were posting messages on other members' profiles as if they were private messages, not realising that they were publicly visible.

I decided that the feature created more issues than value, so disabled it.

Technically, premium members can still use the function - but I would discourage it, and will probably remove it completely in the next version of the site.
