What is the reason why we only breed domestic Bactrian Camels and not Wild Bactrians?

It's very simple, I think.

In the US, you can only import camelids from Australia or Canada. I've read many zoochatters discuss how zoo imports of ungulates are restricted for protection of the livestock industry.
You think the reason there are no wild Bactrian camels in any zoos is because US zoos can't import them? There may be a slight flaw in your reasoning.

If I remember correctly, they may have been some wild Bactrians in zoos in China in the past.

But outside of China and Mongolia, what country's department of agriculture would allow import of camelids from there? I'm thinking ex situ here.

It doesn't matter what country would allow the import of camels, because Mongolia won't let the camels be exported. It's the same reason there aren't programs for species endemic to Ethiopia (mountain nyala or Ethiopian wolf), Ecuador (marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, galapagos Penguins, etc.), and why programs are limited for endemics of China (Giant pandas, snub-nosed Monkeys) and Australia (at least this one has been improving in recent years).
