Pretty much this entire thread has become, "whats your favorite way to consume shrimp", so I gues I'll add another living species. The marbled shrimp, because of it's beautiful coloration.

I think Ghost Shrimp are pretty cool. I like transparent animals and I've kept Ghost Shrimp in the past.

Absolutely commend you Swedes for instituting such a wonderful National day and what a shame I cannot be there to sample the shrimp sandwiches.

Stir fried shrimp and eggs

Scrambled egg with shrimps

Also I dont think I'd like to try the live shrimp dishes like "drunken shrimp" or "dancing shrimp".

Oh... how could I have forgotten : honey and garlic shrimp and shrimp fra diavolo , absolutely delicious !

Just remember that it is very important with camaron rebosado to marinate the shrimp in lemon juice for approximately 30 minutes before putting them in the batter...makes a world of difference..

My favorites also are the ones I eat. In contrast, my least favorites are the ones I ate before I started taking the head off.

Also, one that I find probably even more charming than the peacock mantis shrimp is the "harlequin shrimp".
