What is your ranking of the MCU movies? (from least favorite to most favorite)

I was going to watch it at the cinema when it was out, but when I went the only seat left was in the front corner so I declined.

Same thing happened to me the first time I went, but I accepted the seat because I'm a true believer! :D

23) The incredible Hulk
22) Iron Man 3
21) Captain America: TFA
20) Captain Marvel
19) Thor
18) Ant Man
17) Thor: TDW
16) Spiderman: Homecoming
15) Ant Man and the Wasp
14) GotG Vol. 2
13) Spiderman: FFH
12) GotG Vol. 1
11) Captain America: TWS
10) Black Panther
9) Iron Man 2
8) Captain America: Civil War
7) Doctor Strange
6) Iron Man
5) Avengers: Infinity War
4) Avengers: Age of Ultron
3) Avengers: Endgame
2) Thor: Ragnarock
1) Avengers: Assemble

This list was harder than I thought to put together. Honestly Endgame could have been lower than where it ended up had it not had the portal scene.

Very clear that no one has posted here in a while, but this is some sad news that pertains to the Marvel movies.

Chadwick Boseman (T'Challah) passed away from cancer today. Having only just watched Black Panther a few days ago, it's such a shame that we've lost an amazing actor, such a shame that we've lost someone at all. Rest in peace to him and I hope his family fares well.

Just came here to the mention this. I can't believe he had cancer while doing all of those movies! So tragic, his role meant a lot to a lot of people.

According to the terms of the new Sony/Disney deal there's one more solo film and then an ensemble movie, after that Peter Parker is off to the Venom-verse.
Are we sure this is true? I couldn't find any great sources online.

Yeah it was announced by both studios back when the deal was struck. A quick Google search even brought me to a 2020 article discussing the third solo film's possible title.

That's really disappointing then. Were the rumors true about Apple wanting to buy Sony? If they did the Spider-Man movie rights would just go to Marvel.

Why's it disappointing? I'm not sure if those rumors were true, but if they did the rights would not necessarily revert back to Marvel. If Apple maintained Sony as an intact subsidiary then technically Sony would still own the rights and therefore the rights would not go back to Marvel. Back when Comcast was competing with Disney to purchase 20th Century Fox, it was a real possibility that Disney wouldn't get the rights if they didn't get the deal and Comcast maintained 20th Century as a subsidiary. Funny enough, that's exactly what Disney has done with the company since purchasing it.

I really like the MCU Spider-Man. Two more movies is better than nothing but it will be sad to see him go.

This is such a strange ranking. Guardians of the Galaxy at the bottom, even below Thor: Dark World; at number one Black Panther; and Iron Man 3 being anywhere above the bottom level. It's like if this was an American zoo ranking, something like Omaha would be at the bottom, the DeYoung Family Zoo would be at number one, and that Tiger King zoo would be at number 12.

I don't understand all the hate for Black Panther and Iron Man 3. These are both really good movies. Between T'Challa and Killmonger, I really don't understand why Black Panther isn't the number one movie on everyone's list, or at least top 10. I'm going to put more info on why I hate GOTG in my MCU retrospective post.

Indeed :P I find it particularly bizarre that he dislikes Guardians so much (going so far as to say that it was "so bad that "infinitely better" can only be so good" in fact) and yet rates Ragnarok - a film which tonally and stylistically is very much akin to Guardians - as the third best film in the series.

I'm also rather bemused at how generously he rates The Incredible Hulk :P

Last time I'm going to explain this... ;)
I don't understand all the hate for Black Panther...
Right, BP gets it wrong in loads of ways. Killing off Klaue, battle rhinos, terrible CGI, not enough M'Baku, a rather lacklustre set up, a meh plot... Well that's why I don't like it, others can speak for themselves.

...and Iron Man 3.
No AC/DC, and the fact that it was so tonally different from the other two Iron Man movies.

T'Challa himself isn't really that good of a character though. While he's somewhat interesting in Civil War, he's very boring in his own movie, so much so that I don't remember anything about him in Black Panther. (Admittedly I watched this movie over a year ago, but I remember that I was very disappointed and I kind of felt like I wasted my time by watching the movie.)
Also, while I understand all the hate for Iron Man 3, I still enjoyed it. It's a fun flick, and I loved the scene where Tony had to use his brains instead of his suit while infiltrating the Mandarins mansion. Although, the scene where they bombed Tony's mansion did piss me off a little, he should have let Pepper leave, she was rightfully scared that they would bomb the house and Tony was just putting her life in danger.
