What kind of animal-related rumor that you find it ridiculous?

My first turn, I think the whole “Painted wolf was hated because of the name “African wild dog” “ has to be the most ridiculous I have heard.

Having the species' common name to be changed DOESN’T save these from being threatened. Raiding farms/ranches is likely causing these to be in threatened status just the same as gray wolves.

To be fair, that kind of rumor seems to have been happening for a long time because conversation groups were smart enough to make people fund their painted wolf conversation projects more by renaming “African Wild Dog” to something hype exotic like “Painted Wolf”
