What marsupials have you seen?

Probably neither. Most sugar gliders in third countries are from the Indonesian half of Papua which are probably another species, or even multiple species. No doubt the DNA work will be done in the future to tell us which.

By the way, there is a third species in Australia, the savanna glider, found in the northern tropics.
Most Sugar Gliders in the USA will have originated in Indonesia as well.

Which is what I meant by third countries, but probably not actually sugar gliders (Petaurus breviceps), but some currently undescribed species.

Great list, I'm quite jealous of the wild dasyurids!! Must have gone pretty far north for that echymipera.
 
I see Virginia opossums in my backyard almost every night (along with racoons and armadillos on a regular basis)
Sugar gliders (had a friend who had a pair as pets)
