Unfortunately 'Wallaby Walkabouts' and Australia Bush zones are very hard to make exciting. Koalas sleep all day and Wombats would probably be invisible(underground). Australian animals are not very visible in the daytime and just don't make very good zoo exhibits in general.

Clouded leopards would be a good addition to the collection, however degus can be in seen in most pet shops these days.

I would also like to see tapirs return to the zoo.
 
I used to when I was younger I used to really want Colchester to have Gorillas but obviously there's no space unless they demolish lots of it:rolleyes: or expand.

I miss the Black Mangabys and the Swamp Monkeys:( . I was and my mum were the first people to see the group of Capuchin Monkeys when they arrived from Chester Zoo.:D;)

Can anyone remind me please the Tapirs at Colchester for I've forgotton them:o.
