It’s over 5 years since I first posted on this thread and things have changed quite a bit since. Sadly the 4 dogs I had back then all died within a 2 year period, my Rhodesian ridgeback Mambo’s death was particularly painful for me. Other pets have also come and gone in that time.
My current list is: 3 dogs - Yahtzee and Willow, working line English springer spaniels, and Buffy - pugalier. 3 cats - Daisy, Matilda and Gizmo. 4 mice. 5 chooks. 2 blue tongue lizards - Pebbles and Bam Bam. A fish tank with various small tropical fish and shrimp. In addition I am currently fostering a Maltese and her 4 puppies who were apparently fathered by a chihuahua - Millie, Vector, Chester, Nala and Bob.
 
Have now added a
yellow bellied royal python
2 x montanus leopard gecko
2nd green horned frog
 
I've taken down the fish tanks, so for the time being, I no longer keep fish. I've had fish continually for at least a decade now, and I found I wasn't enjoying keeping fish as much as I used to, and felt I needed a break from them. All fish have been rehomed.

That's not saying I'm done with fish though, I'll certainly set them back up in the future (no plans for what kind of setup/what kind of fish)! But for now, I think I need a break.

I quit fishkeeping for about 3 years, I retired my original 10 gallon tank, now I have a 30 gallon and an incoming 40 gallon! Fish keeping is a journey in which I have made lots of progress.

I now also have 0.2 antsangy (I own the animals, but they won't be arriving for another few weeks). Unfortunately the poison frogs ended up being sold out before I could put in an offer, and the bamboo rat ended up being whisked out from right under my nose...the python is still on the table however, and I'm hopeful to not only have a bamboo rat by the end of the year, but have also begun the process of getting some special tortoises too…

Added a leachianus gecko this pat Saturday. It's about 7 months old. Did great eating and doing leachie things right away. Trying to leave it alone for a few weeks to let it settle in. Already want another one, lol.

I have 0.1 Easter egger named Pepper and lastly I have 0.1 Speckled Sussex named peanut butter aka chicken parmigian.
