this might not be possible but maybe sumatran rhinos last zoo to display them if i rembered correctly was the cincinnati zoo but it s just a distant dream
Happy that another person would like to have sumatran rhinos outside of sumatraI too had a similar thought that if Sumatran Rhinos were to be brought back in a facility outside of Sumatra. Realistically, it would be the Mandai Parks. Not just for geography and conservation reasons, but it would also give them another huge reason to draw in international visitors like myself. Just imagine the very marketable tagline of being the only place outside of Sumatra to see this critically endangered species. Wouldn’t that be so tempting? Of course, if they were to go somewhere; I hope it would be Rainforest Wild Asia (if they have enough land, that is). But if not, then perhaps the main Singapore Zoo would be my next option.
They can't get Javan rhinos.Mandai should add Javan rhinos to Rainforest wild Asia,Maybe mix the Malayan tapir with it?
That's exactly why they can't get them.javan rhinos are even rarer than sumatran rhinos with sumatran rhino having 5 populuation at different location while javan rhinos are only surviving at one national park in java
Meant to say Indian rhinos from night safari could move overMandai should add Javan rhinos to Rainforest wild Asia,Maybe mix the Malayan tapir with it?
Night Safari
Pipe dream: aye-ayes
Introduce some new species to prevent the binturong and palm civet bloat; mostly small mammals, former species like the northern Luzon giant cloud rat or even present species that are off-display like their tamandua
Move the servals back here as they'd be way more active and visible in the night time
Bird Paradise
Make some space for a raptor retirement aviary just like in Jurong. A large aviary for their Andean condor and king vulture would also be nice as well as on display aviaries for their Old World vultures and other birds of prey
Bird Paradise
Add glass windows to Winged Sanctuary to allow for slightly easier viewing of the birds especially the tiny ones. The common hill myna aviary is not very viewer friendly too
Singapore Zoo
Do something with the Frozen Tundra land, tear it down and turn it into literally anything else as it's the biggest waste of space
Fill the pygmy hippo tanks with either turtles or surplus large freshwater fish from RW. Likewise, move the Chinese alligator back to its original enclosure in Reptopia

River Wonders
Bring in matamata to the dwarf caiman exhibit
Add more tigerfish, there's only one goliath left and the Nile River tank has too many tilapia
Anything to solve the glare issue especially in the Ganges and Mary River areas

Reacquiring birds which died out early on like palm-nut vultures in Heart of Africa and sarus crane in Wings of Asia
Cormorants would be nice either in Wings of Asia or Penguin Coast

Said tanks are in the pygmy hippo gallery but are separate smaller tanksI agree with many things except to put turtles with hippos would put them at risk of being crunchy snacks.
I have a wishlist of animals in mind which I hope will be there:None as the park hasn't opened yet. But in seriousness, some okapis have arrived and are being kept behind the scenes in the zoo until Rainforest Wild opens and a large lemur walkthrough exhibit is being planned
Thanks for the answer.Said tanks are in the pygmy hippo gallery but are separate smaller tanks
Yes, echidnas and playpus. Hoping for cuscus, bandicoot, quoll and dormouse possum too. The koalas failed to make it permanently otherwise a mini oz would have been perfect.
Remember that this is a Rainforest Park. That eliminates about half of your species. Additionally, gorillas are highly unlikely due to the bacteria in Singapore's soil that is lethal to them, and African Elephants would pose too big of a potential danger of EEHV to asian elephants.I have a wishlist of animals in mind which I hope will be there:
African Pygmy Hedgehog
African Pygmy Dormouse
Desert Hedgehog
Honey Badger
Striped Weasel
Gorilla
African Elephant
Camels
more chameleons
Madagascar Hedgehog Tenrec
Streaked Tenrec
...and those others they transfer from existing Mandai parks

Lastly, while I understand that you are new, try to limit double posting. If you think of something you want to add after publishing your post, you have an hour to edit it.
The Streaked Tenrecs are very rare in captivity.I did not know how to do it.
Anyway, hope that the smaller species can make it here.
