What three zoos/safari parks would you like to visit and why?

Ok new thread this is about zoos/safari parks you would like to visit and haven't . So where would you like to go and why ? for me as follows .
1. Chester Zoo - from what i hear /understand the best Zoo in the Uk
2. Yorkshire Wildlife Park - as recommended by you guys
3. Paignton Zoo next time I'm here must go to the Zoo not the supermarket
 
1. San Diego Zoo
I have always wanted to go here, but I'm on the other side of the country

2. Henry Doorly Zoo
I have always wanted to go here

3. Georgia Aquarium
Whale Sharks, Nuff Said

I go to the supermarket after Paignton Zoo has closed! There are some UK collections I have not visited for quite a while to which I should like to return, for example Birdland and Birdworld both of which I visited in 1999 for the first and so far only time, but as far as places I have never visited are concerned I should choose:-

1. Tropical Birdland, Desford. I have read lots of good things about this place and I'd like to meet its free-flying parrots.

2. The Parrot Zoo. For obvious reasons given my user name! It gets a lot of criticism on the parrot forum of which I am a member, but I should much rather see for myself and form my own opinion.

3. Tropical Wings. It sounds as though it is just the sort of place I like given my preference for smaller collections.
 
That's a tough one because there's so many I haven't been to. I'll try, though.

Woodland Park Zoo---I was there when I was 2 or so and I don't remember it
Dallas Zoo---looks like a neat zoo to visit, especially the tram thing
National Zoo---because they do so much with conservation and it looks like a cool place to visit
 
1. San Diego Zoo- It seems like one of the best zoos in the US.

2. Cincinatti Zoo- It interests me.

3. Bioparc Doué-la-Fontaine- I like that it is in a quarry. Don't ask why.
 
Okay then, I'll play :-

RSCC - plenty of rarities to be seen, I'm desperate to pay a visit.

Hamerton - almost exactly the same as above and it comes highly recommended by all who have visited.

Exmoor - I have tried to visit this collection previously but my plans thwarted at the last minute. It hurts that I'll be in Devon in a couple of weeks but will have no chance of getting there. :(
 
Monterey Bay Aquarium: Looks fantastic! My mom was going to go to San Francisco in the summer and invited me, and I agreed under the condition that we visit Monterey Bay. (in part for the aquarium, but I got my eyes set on wildlife as well) But then she started thinking about Cozumel, and I went with that cause I want to see oceans and wildlife and if I went to SF, we'd only get to spend a little time at Monterey Bay.

San Diego Safari Park: I've never visited a safari park before, and this one looks really fantastic.

Fjord and Baelt: The underwater tunnel really sells it for me, but the rest of the place looks cool too.

Me too however I think San Diego Zoo is more viable to visit. Henry Doorly Zoo its at a weird location that no travelers would go their for vacation.
 
My list tends to change pretty frequently, but, without restricting myself to the UK:

1. Duisburg - the Rio Negro exhibit looks great from the pictures, would like to see it myself whilst the river dolphin is still in residence

2. Basel - a lot of history

3. Either of the Berlin zoos - again a lot of history and collections which pretty much cover everything.
 
1) Any zoo where Sirocco the kakapo is putting in an appearance.

Aside from that I just like to go to zoos where there are animals I know and care about and have mild curiosity about anywhere else.
 
-San Diego Zoo (in my eyes the highlight in the US)
-Singapore Zoo + Singapore Night Safari (I adore small, nocturnal and rare animals)
-Taronga Zoo (biggest zoo in Australia, I like the australian fauna, many animals nowhere to be seen in Europe)
...are just the biggest of those I want to visit because they are so far away. If I could, I would like to visit every zoo in the world but even as a "lifelong goal", I guess it's too difficult to vist ALL.
But in general, it's my lifelong goal to visit as many zoos as possible.
 
Ooh, three is a very small number:

1. Walsrode Bird Park, Germany: World's biggest bird collection, definitely need to see that!
2. Bronx Zoo, USA: Supposed to be amazing, and huge.
3. Rare Species Conservation Centre, UK: Sounds like a very unique facility, with a pile of very rare-in-captivity species.

There are a pile of other zoos to see of course, but few for which there are many reasons to visit. Loro Parque would be number four, then I'd probably be returning to previously visited zoos.
 
Mine changes with my mood but I like taking part in this sort of thing (I'm sure there's an almost identical thread somewhere else).

Woodland Park Zoo - Has been my number one for a very long time. Seattle (and the northwest) is coincidentally the first place I'd like to see in the USA.

Zurich Zoo - By all accounts it sounds like a really forward-thinking zoo.

Singapore Night Safari - This is probably the closest I've ever been to the entrance of a zoo without visiting. I like the idea of seeing nocturnal creatures in an outdoor setting rather than the usual nocturnal house.

Oooh, this Night Safari place sounds pretty cool!
 
So hard to choose only three! But probably:

-San Diego Zoo: many species no present in European zoos, and everybody that have visited the park seems to agree that is just amazing.

-SeaWorld San Diego: I´m not a fan of those "circus style" animals shows, but I´m an orca freak, and SWC is now the home of Ulises, the first orca I saw, more than 20 years ago, at Barcelona Zoo. I know it can sound stupid, but I really would like to see him again.

-Jersey: I have read so many Durrell´s books, that I´d love to see his zoo by myself.
