Apart from the bottlenosed and the ZooChat Famouse Amazonian River Dolphin, Aswell as the commersons dolphins and Belugas, what Other Species of Whales and dolphins have been kept at duisburg zoo?

AFAIK, Duisburg Zoo has kept Guiana Tucuxies too, but only for a short period from 1977 till 1979, two males were exhibited in 1995, but these two males were kept only behind the scenes

i saw tucuxi's in the amazon.

at about half the size of a regular bottlenose, totally freshwater tolerant and common in space restricted habitats - you'd think they'd be more common in captivity.

I think a number where imported into Germany in the 1970s. I don't think they did all that well.

I first visited Duisburg in October 1980 (and have been a number of times since).

On that original visit I saw beluga, Commerson’s dolphin and Amazon river dolphin, all for the first time. (Duisburg is still the only place where I’ve ever seen Amazon river dolphin.)

In addition to the three species of cetacean, that visit was also the first time I saw fossa and giant otter, so it was a very memorable trip; it’s frightening to think that it was 29 years ago.

I missed the tucuxi dolphins in Duisburg, but I have seen them at both Nuremberg and Munster zoos. (I think that they were actually the same animals that were moved from Nuremberg to Munster, but I’m sure that somebody will be able to confirm that.)

That's correct, the Tucuxis at Münster were moved over from Nuremberg (in exchange for Bottlenose dolphins) in 1991.

Originally, Antwerpen Zoo imported them in 1968 and in 1977 they were moved over to Nuremberg.
In 1995 the remaining two Tucuxis at Münster were moved to Duisburg during the reconstruction of Münster's dolphinarium. In 1996 they received again two male Bottlenose dolphins from Nuremberg.
