What zoo would you recommend in Hungary?

Hi,
I would like to visit Hungary for few days (no loger than a week, probably shorter), travelling by train (or bus), as I have no car. I will enter Hungary from Bratislava or Vienna. What zoos would you recommend to visit? The Budapest is an obvious choice, but what else?

Please recommend me the most interesting zoos, if possible, with a good connection between them. Thanks.
 
The closest zoos for you would be Gyoer (on the way from Bratislava to Budapest) and Veszprem (SW of Budapest near Balatonfured - Lake Balaton).

Sadly, I have never been yet - allthough planning to in September / November - and would like to visit these and hopefully the zoos in Debrecen, Szeged and Nyiregyhaza. If I will manage all in a week is really in doubt (with Budapest being a great very enjoyable city to visit).
 
Maybe Sóstó Zoo in Nyíregyháza is a good choice...
But it's situated at the east side of Hungary, so a bit secluded from the other cities you are.
