Bristol Zoo (Closed) Whats Going To Happen To Bristol?

Just checked the NWCP pages on the Bristol Zoo web-site , it gives a quite detailed history of the estate on one page.

I was wrong about the estate being bequeathed , it was purchased in 1965 by the Zoological Society following the death of Sir Stanley White . His widow continued to live in the house until 1970 .

Aha... I thought I had it right though I hadn't checked. I remember there was someone still living there at the beginning.
