What's something you heard at a zoo or aquarium from another guest that irritated you?

I saw a tank at World Aquarium labeled as this:

Nemo’s Reef needs a clean!

Not directly from a zoo visit but a guy I went to school with refused to believe me when I said Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo, Australia has never kept any Hyena species (they haven't) he said he saw them but he meant African Hunting Dogs (he was not convinced by my explanation that they weren't Hyenas, was very frustrating lol).

Reminds me of the time a friend of mine asked me to show him and his girlfriend at the time around the Bronx Zoo. Among other claims, at one point she started insisting that the zoo's full-grown adult Leopard was only a juvenile and that they get to over twice that size. She would not hear different.

She would also go on tangents about how the Lions, giraffes, Gelada, and nyala could all easily escape their enclosures when we arrived at them.

I have heard that the Bronx neighborhood is in constant danger :p

Recently I visited Pairi Daiza in Belgium and I was in the Oasis hall to see the Bulwer's pheasant. I stood in front of the aviary for a while and I noticed other visitors passing by all the time. The Bulwer's pheasant is a unique bird and very rare so for a bird lover like me a real gem, but most people didn't seem to bother very much.
Some reactions of visitors:
- That's a weird turkey/chicken.
- It's defenitely a turkey!
- It doesn't look natural, it must be a genetically modifed bird. (sure, the displaying including the long wattle of the bird is quite unique, but if you didn't see that in your life before, it doesn't mean it's not natural. Weird conclusion)
- Some kids asking their parents what kind of bird it is, and the parents then totally ignoring their kids (why don't you take the chance to educate your kid about a rare bird? There was a sign with the name on it!)

However I was glad to see that some people took the effort to read the birds' name on the sign.

Ah yes, I ask you to guide me through a place I don't know anything about and claim to know something more than you, a person which informs itself on this stuff everyday and I know is way more knowledgeable than me; yeah that sounds right

One time I was at the New York Aquarium and I heard a father and his son say “Seal fish” in front of the seal (Species?) exhibit.

Monkey is not used for Hominoidea, that was my entire point. In phylogenic nomeclature, ape is only used for Hominoideans, and monkey is not used for them at all. That was my point.
Hominoidea is within Catarrhini so all apes are monkeys but not all monkeys are apes.
