What's something you heard at a zoo or aquarium from another guest that irritated you?

At the very end of 2013, my family went to Las Vegas and we stayed at the MGM. Naturally, we went to the Mandalay Bay aquarium (after much begging from 12-year old me). As we passed the piranha tank, I was telling my mother that piranhas weren’t nearly as scary or vicious as people think they are and that they have lots of predators.
I said something like, “Even river dolphins eat them”, and this caught the attention of a guy standing in front of the piranha tank (I think he was a staff/volunteer, but there isn’t a “something a zoo staff said that annoyed you” thread, is there?), and he responded like I had just insulted his family . He kept going on about how “River dolphins are so awesome and tough”, which they absolutely are, but I was never saying they weren’t.
My family was naturally weirded out and we went on to the saltwater part of the aquarium.
I think this guy might’ve been a Boto Encantado in disguise.
hahahahahahaah I laughed so hard at the Boto Encantado, and I was wondering, as a brazilian, how do you know about this myth? And it's also interesting that you call it Boto Encantando, I would call it (Lenda do) Boto-Cor-De-Rosa

I had an "obscure mythical creatures from around the world" phase, and I've only ever known them as "Boto Encandato".

Did he wear a hat and a pink shirt? Or maybe he was just a "son of a dolphin"...;)
And yeah @Matheus Carbonero - some bits of Brazilian folklore have made it out of your country. :D
But speaking of mysteries involving Brazil - ever heard of the German time traveler? ;);)[starting at 3:10]
Oh, it's nice to know that it made it out. OMG I can't believe this, that guy surely has a time machine. And I don't care much about soccer but I have to admit that it's hard remembering that day and the feeling of seeing it live... hard times hahahahaha

Oh, nice! Boto Encantado makes a lot of sense, I think it's even better than the way I usually hear it, Lenda do Boto-Cor-De-Rosa is very generic, since it means Pink Boto Myth hahahahahahaah

At the San Diego Zoo I heard multiple people say that a gharial was called a "Jurassic croc" since that was printed on its signage in bold, heading a paragraph about the species' origin and status as a living fossil. It was just annoying because it showed that so much of the public will just read one part of zoo signage and run with it rather than bother to look into it when the information is literally right in front of their face.
