Also if anyone minds answering my question. How long does it take to gain access to the Speculative Zoo Design and Planning? I saw the rules saying new zoochatters don't get access, but how much time needs to pass?

A specific time frame hasn't been disclosed; they're encouraging people to participate on other parts of the forum rather than just the speculative section. I would encourage you to do that.
