Hangon patrick - not everyone has full details in their location - some just say "Sydney" or "Victoria", or "North Wales" - I wouldn't have known that glyn was actually from Maitland or where exactly PAT or ZooMania were from beyond the vague description in their profiles.

So give it a rest and ignore this thread if you don't like it!

I'we been in other forums and find a tread like that very fun...
you can write what you want and some thimes you realise things you didn't know about the others...

It's a way of geting to know eachother....

and I wanted to know if someone was from Europa....you know how many members there are in here?...I just wanted to know...this was the easy way...so I don't need to look thro the memberlist...
 
Assa75, starting a thread like this one is probably the smartest thing you could do to gain acceptance on this forum. most people just go in and start asking stupid questions and putting reply's on non-related threads, which gets long-term forum members offside quickly.

I'm from Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA--about 150 miles from Chicago, Detroit, and Cincinnati. Welcome to the forum--it's a great place to learn!

I´ve only just got to this thread, and yes the information is there to see but I too would like to know if there is anyone else from Spain here...Perhaps we should expand on this basic information to keep some of the other folk happy.

I´m from Valencia, Spain, I moved here from Southsea, near Portsmouth, England two years ago. I´m still finding my way around Spain, and still trying to learn the language but I love it here.
I also love the fact that I get to see different wild birds and animals that I´ve never seen before.
I don´t visit zoo´s on a regular basis but love wildlife in general and thought this would be a good place to find out about animals (I´m more into Birds). Also I´m itching to visit the new zoo in Valencia but haven´t yet had the time.
I will post detail as soon as i do.

Groningen, The Netherlands (about an hour up north from Unt-Bwe).

Nearest Zoo is Emmen, hour bustrip single journey. My parents live in the eastern part of Holland which is within 2 hours of around 15 major zoo's ;)
 
LOL. I'm living within one hour by train - I always take the train - to several zoos, and 1.5 hour from some other zoos.

Or one hour by bike to Wissel Zoo :D
 
I live in a town with about 1200 people called West Lorne,Ontario.It is a very nice village in my mind and i have lived here almost my whole life.It is about 40 minutes away from London,Ontario
 
I was born in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico which is a big resort city. I moved to the US when I was 8 years old and I now live in El Monte, California, USA, which is about 25 mins from downtown Los Angeles, CA.
 
I live in a town with about 37000 people called Burjassot. suburb town, about to four kilometres of distance to Valencia (Spain of course!)
 
I live in a suburb called Rowville in Victoria, semi-rural, but new construction has happened around us, and also new links to what is known as "eastlink" My parents though were born in Sarawak Malaysia, in Kuching,
