Which european species do like too see in zoos

Many European species have similar counterparts in North America like Wolves, Brown Bears, Moose, Wolverine, Lynx, Beaver, Bison, Otter etc, that may explain why there is no European section in NA zoos since many species may overlap with the roster of NA section. I would like to see Common Gennet, Chamois, Ibex and Great Bustard, but they are either absent or kept in small numbers in NA facilities.

Just be aware that Wolverines are kept by one facility only in Canada, hope to see more of them in Canadian zoos in the future. Same for Moose, which is only kept by about 4 Canadian facilities, it is shame that Moose are not many in NA captivity, compared to the large captivity population of European counterparts

As an American, our European representation in zoos is more or less limited to Eurasian lynx, fallow deer, more rarely red deer, European mouflon if you want to count those, and "wild boars" of dubious heritage, at least so far as mammals are concerned.

San Diego WAP received a pair of Western Roe Deer circa 2000, but as far as I am aware they didn't last very long.

While visiting the UK earlier this year, I made European bison one of my main target species and had a wonderful time seeing them; I also was very interested in seeing Scottish wildcat, which were a lovely species. I also had the pleasure to see European brown bears and more of Eurasian wolverine, always a very entertaining species. I've seen White Stork and Cinerous Vulture locally as well. I have also seen Eurasian lynx.

I personally think Scottish wildcat could be more widely kept.
