Closed Which sections of Zoochat do YOU look at?

When 'Zoochat' started it was small enough to read most of the threads & sections, but nowadays its so huge, that's almost impossible unless you were here permanently.:) So which sections do you always look at, and which do you tend to ignore?

For me the following provide the most interest (in this order);

UK Forum
UK Gallery.
Europe general Forum(Gorillas & elephants) also zoos and occassional Gallery.
General Forum.
Australia Forum..
USA Forum.

I tend nowadays not to look at the Introductions/T.V./Cafe anymore but sometimes at the Memorabilia section. There is simply too much to take in everything now.:( Good or bad?

UK Forum
UK Gallery
General Forum
Zoo Cafe
Occasionally Zoo Memorabillia

I'll usually check out a foreign gallery if I'm looking for something specific.

UK mostly, but I also look at general and zoo cafe. Like Pertinax I no longer look at all sections, I would never have the time,

I think it is a good thing to have so many active members.

ZooChat has grown in leaps and bounds over the past couple of years, and if I ignore the site for even 24 hours it can become overwhelming to attempt to digest the massive influx of photos and information that ends up here. I think that most members are content to focus on their particular geographical area, but I like to peruse a variety of threads. The photos from over 800 zoos are of perhaps the most interest to me.

I generally go on "new posts" and click on whatever threads are of interest to me from across the world. After that, I will often search the gallery for a particular subject (elephants, for example) or just browse the whole gallery for a zoo which looks interesting. I occasionally use the "Maps" section as well.

Canada Forum (mostly Toronto)
USA Forum
Chester Zoo Forum
General Forum
Zoo Cafe
Chester Gallery
Toronto Gallery
USA Gallery

These are my most popular areas but occasianly I visit others (London)

What an interesting question.
I always start with Today's comments to see what is causing interest in the Gallery. If I have some photos ready, I'll upload them.
Then I come here to the General Forum. I'll look at Photography Forum and the Europe General Forum if there's a new post in either. Then I'll go to the UK forum and read all the new stuff and I finish by checking out Today's Photos back in the Gallery - which can take a little while if I want to enlarge a few of the images.

First click for me everytime is new posts and then work my way to the right, with the new photos and comments.
I like to check out the google zoo news forum too.
And for any up to date flashes check the twitter link.

Most of the time I just check the "New Posts", "New Photos", and "New Comments" to see what's new. Then I just check the USA forum, and general forum.

I just click on the new posts, photos and threads and look at things that interest me and I agree with snowleopard that if you leave it for too long there's too much to look through so I have to catch up over a few days.

I tend to go to UK Forum first then to New Posts for a quick browse , this picks up what is happening on the other forums . I have followed with interest the Poll of age and gender of Zoochatters , nice to see that there are quite a few older participants like me .

When I first found zoochat (something like 2005/6 dont hold me to it though, I cant remember) I was able to read most the threads in the uk forum. When I finally joined I ventured out to other sections. Currently: Uk forums, Uk gallery, general forum, introductions, european gallery (no specific country just whatever looks interesting), then USA gallery and finally Australian/New Zealand gallery.

I am really glad I asked this.:) Its really interesting to see the various different approaches to accessing information that people here use. Thanks for your responses so far.

Generally i stick to the Uk Forum and Gallery but i do have a look at the General Forum quite abit too. When looking around if there is a picture i see that i find interesting i will often look at that and others in the Zoo Gallery it is in.I occasionaly look in the Zoo Memorabillia aswell.
Most is Uk based but some purely by chance.

1st General forum
2nd Europe general forum
3rd Spain (inc. gallery)

And many others forums/galleries when I found post/pics interesting for me.

I always look at :-

UK Forum
General Forum
UK Galleries
US Galleries

But I mainly stay on the UK area myself, as it's the news and stories from my country.

I regularly look at the UK Forum and Gallery, also the General Forum and and any new posts that catch my eye. I use the rest of Zoochat as and when I feel the need, rather like a library.
I usually give threads with long lists of zoos, animals etc a miss!
