I remember reading an article about the Cairns Aquarium's freshwater whiptail ray (Himantura dalyensis) claiming that there was a possibility of them setting up a breeding program for the species. Has there been any development on this? A breeding program would be amazing, either for release into the wild or for other aquariums, would love for this species to become more widespread in aquariums (iirc Cairns Aquarium is one of only two to house freshwater whiptail rays)
