@Onychorhynchus coronatus Thanks for your obligingness. Yet unless you have walked the walk and done the deed, it's hard for a non-vet to understand what I wrote. I just lost another colleague of mine due to suicide last week; one of (too) many. A vocation will take you only so far.

My condolences and I'm very sorry to hear that Batto.

We lose many people within wildlife / animal related careers due to climbing rates of mental illness and endemic problems within these fields that we have discussed elsewhere in the forum.

It is always a tragedy when we lose these people who could have gone on to achieve great things and advances.

Yes, I agree , everything is difficult right now but organizations are rising to meet these challenges so there is reason for hope.

Yes, I agree with you. Change / adaption in these times is necessary and a lot of organizations are doing this.

Obviously there will be some that will not survive but I think (and hope) that many of these will.
