Why did my Threads get deleted?

I was doing a series of grading zoo and aquarium exhibits to see what grade they received and then rank based on the pole results for fun.

However while I remember what results they were the threads for the first 3 poles where deleted can anyone help me why this happened?

The moderators have deemed that your polls add no value to the community and are generally pointless, so they were deleted.

Please don't post more polls - focus on actually adding value via meaningful discussion.

Sorry I am new to this platform but isn’t grading zoo and aquariums exhibits meaningful to see what the overall community feels about them just asking?

Posting polls does not add value - at least not on their own and not when that's all you've ever posted and not when you post the same type of poll over and over.

If you want to see what the community feels about an exhibit, first start by posting what YOU feel about the exhibit and then see how people respond.

I did what you said and my thread still got deleted even I wasn’t going to do polls and have general discussion with other members, I honestly don’t what’s going on?

You did not do as you were asked - the moderation team requested that you "start by posting what YOU feel about the exhibit and then see how people respond", and you instead chose to start a thread wherein you asked people to list all the exhibits at Columbus Zoo with letter grades.... in other words, you tried to create a de-facto poll without the actual poll, and did not write a single thing about your own opinions, feelings and experiences as asked.

Moreover, despite the reason for prior deletions being clearly explained, you opened the new thread by claiming that we have been deleting your threads for "no good reason".

I’ll admit that wasn’t best course of action and for that I apologize for but I intended to ask people they feel about exhibits and then give my opinion on them so we could discuss the quality of the zoo and it’s exhibits that was the focus of the new thread and the snide remark I apologize for but I didn’t intend to do polls I again.

You need to start the discussion. There's plenty of stuff about the Columbus zoo on zoochat, give people a reason to want to reply to your thread. Their exhibits have been discussed heavily over the years.

I follow what you're trying to do. The key thing is they want you to give your opinion on them first before others add to the thread, rather than after.

You could try posting a ranking of the exhibits yourself and then asking others what their rankings would be, for example. :)
