Why haven't Salmon sharks been kept in aquariums yet?

They are smaller than great whites and why hasn't the Monterey Bay Aquarium or other aquariums attempted to keep them in captivity?
Despite their smaller size, they deal with most of the same issues as semi-pelagic, far-ranging and ram-ventilating lamniform sharks. And the key difference is they aren’t quite as well known or well marketed, sad as it is to say. It’s not as consistently revenue-generating to attempt it, and I think that’s your reason Monterey skipped right to great whites.
