I just find this stunning photo, and it is certainly the most marvelous non-camera-trap photo of the WILD Asian golden cat. And the photo location is also very interesting: a mountain pass in Bhutan with an altitude of 4000m !

Amazing shot. I like the way he apologises for the "distant" shot, when it looks like he was standing 2 metres away.

Maybe he was using a large lens and standing on the other side of the valley

I have no doubt that he was, but the apology was unnecessary: it's a fantastic, clear, sharp, well-composed image.
