Wild Gingko biloba population finally confirmed!

The 'cultivation/naturalised-only' status of G. biloba always perplexed me slightly, just because a lot of people seemed very certain about it without ever really explaining why, given we're talking about a species that may have a 1000-year-plus lifespan. Good to see it looks like a myth now!
 
Same thoughts here. It underlines we never should stop looking around. It helps. Now there really is a strong reason to conserve this particular area in China.
