Two males have been spotted near Virginia Beach, Virginia! I've never heard of them coming this far south, or anywhere south of Long Island.

Nice! They live all over the ocean but they're more common in cooler waters, and in some places you almost never see them close to shore. I always wish I'd see them swim by the park I work in, buuuuut it's not likely to happen in Texas, lol. (and if one of them did show up that close to shore here, it probably wouldn't be a good sign)
