A lot of those amphibians and turtles make me jealous, iv'e only seen one of each (one toad and one turtle both in Florida).

I'm guessing you would have been to Florida (or at least SE USA). I stayed in Orlando and both Brown Anoles and Southeastern Five Lined Skinks were everywhere. I also saw the Southern Toad at night there.

Cape Cannaveral (about an hours drive from Orlando) is a great place for wildlife in general although we were only there to board the ship and visit JFK space centre which is great for wildlife, we saw three aligators, red eared sliders, all sorts of bird of preys (Turkey Vulture, Bald Eagle, Red Shouldered Hawk), Egrets and Anoles but a lot more can be seen.

If you visit Nassau I can almost guarantee the chance of seeing Northern Curlytail Lizards (beatufil lizards with that tail) as well as in St Thomas and St maartin Green Iguanas are everywhere!

While my father and I were walking to the pier to look at Iguanas my mother and sister stumbled across a lizard which they photographed. I got extremely jealous and identified it as a St Martin (or St maartin it was on the French side) Amieva.

In New York and Connecticut we saw no reptiles as it was late autumn (it was November 2018, it even snowed in conneticut, the first (and only) time I've seen snow).

Snapping Turtles, Softshells and Salamanders (especially blue spotted, one of my favorite species), a variety of frogs and wild snakes (they still elude me :() make me jealous. I'm sure they would have all been amazing to see, and I hope the next time I visit the States I can see a few.

I'm a little jealous of some of the wildlife in Australia. I would love to go there someday and go see some of the animals!

I went to Florida a few times as a little kid and barely remember it. The Brown Anoles are one of the few animals I remember seeing. All the other species were seen elsewhere.
