I wanted to do a Redesign of My Speculative Zoo Concept as I came up with many ideas that could replace a lot of the major areas that I had layed out previously for the zoo.

Wild World Zoo, Situated somewhere in North America, will once again be a world renowned zoo for its protection of many endangered species. here are all the major exhibits of the zoo with brief descriptions:

- Realm Of Africa: The zoo's Large Africa Complex - Mainly Focused around the savannas of Africa, Particularly the Tsavo in Kenya and the Serengeti, but will also feature an islands of Madagascar area, a congo river inspired area and also some of the coastal and underwater landscapes of Africa too.
- Wild Europe: a European section of the zoo, as european animals are often overlooked by zoo enthusiasts. the place will also feature a Temperate Greenhouse or Vivarium of sorts, which is overall dedicated to temperate birds and other Temperate animals around the world.

- Monsoon South Indoor Rainforest: the zoo's large tropical house, partial free flight aviary, but also walkthrough indoor rainforest taking visitors through a tour of both indonesia but tropical Oceania and New Zealand. an outdoor section is also accessible, with some other species too.

- Darwin's Evolution Of The New World: large North and South American complex, featuring animals from the Cerrado, Amazon/Atlantic Rainforests, the Andes, and the Galapagos of South America, and the Western Desert, Everglades and Various national parks of North America. both indoor and outdoor.

- Main Zoo: the main part of the zoo, mainly developed before these other 4 large areas, but mostly comprised of zoo staples that are not touched by these other areas

in addition to this, with this speculative zoo concept, help would be very much appreciated for all of these areas of the zoo. mainly in bird species as when it comes to that side of Exhibit Design. but if you have any suggestions for any species for the zoo, it would be very much appreciated.

Here's my suggestions, I'm going to mainly focus on birds:
- Realm Of Africa: The zoo's Large Africa Complex - Mainly Focused around the savannas of Africa, Particularly the Tsavo in Kenya and the Serengeti, but will also feature an islands of Madagascar area, a congo river inspired area and also some of the coastal and underwater landscapes of Africa too.
Savanna Area:
  • Secretary Bird (Sagittarius serpentarius)
  • Kori Bustard (Ardeotis kori)
  • Grey Crowned Crane (Balearica regulorum)
  • Ostrich (Struthio camelus)
Madagascar:
  • Crested Coua (Coua cristata)
  • Red Fody (Foudia madagascariensis)
  • Gray-headed Lovebird (Agapornis canus)
  • Lesser Vasa Parrot (Coracopsis nigra)
  • Malagasy Turtle-Dove (Nesoenas picturatus)
Congo River:
  • African Spoonbill (Platalea alba)
  • Shoebill (Balaeniceps rex)
  • African Grey Parrot (Psittacus erithacus)
  • Yellow-billed Stork (Mycteria ibis)
Coastal and Underwater Landscapes of Africa:
  • African Penguin (Spheniscus demersus)
  • White-breasted Cormorant (Phalacrocorax lucidus)
- Wild Europe: a European section of the zoo, as european animals are often overlooked by zoo enthusiasts. the place will also feature a Temperate Greenhouse or Vivarium of sorts, which is overall dedicated to temperate birds and other Temperate animals around the world.
Europe:
  • Eurasian Eagle-Owl (Bubo bubo)
  • European Goldfinch (Carduelis carduelis)
  • Eurasian Hoopoe (Upupa epops)
  • European Roller (Coracias garrulus)
  • Western Capercaillie (Tetrao urogallus)
Temperate Vivarium
  • Blue Jay (Cyanocitta cristata)
  • Other native birds (wherever your Zoo is)
- Monsoon South Indoor Rainforest: the zoo's large tropical house, partial free flight aviary, but also walkthrough indoor rainforest taking visitors through a tour of both indonesia but tropical Oceania and New Zealand. an outdoor section is also accessible, with some other species too.
  • Southern Cassowary (Casuarius casuarius)
  • Kakariki (Cyanoramphus novaezelandiae)
  • Eastern Rosella (Platycercus eximius)
  • Sugar Glider (Petaurus breviceps)
  • Other tropical parrots
- Darwin's Evolution Of The New World: large North and South American complex, featuring animals from the Cerrado, Amazon/Atlantic Rainforests, the Andes, and the Galapagos of South America, and the Western Desert, Everglades and Various national parks of North America. both indoor and outdoor.
  • Greater Rhea (Rhea Americana)
  • Hyacinth Macaw (Anodorhynchus hyacinthinus)
  • Red-legged Seriema (Cariama cristata)
  • Toco Toucan (Ramphastos toco)
  • All of the free-flight bird collection of California Academy of Science would work
  • Andean Condor (Vultur gryphus)
  • Roseate Spoonbill (Platalea ajaja)
  • Red-footed Booby (Sula sula)
  • Burrowing Owl (Athene cunicularia)
  • Greater Roadrunner (Geococcyx californianus)
  • Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus)
  • California Condor (Gymnogyps californianus)
  • Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis)

thanks, this will generally help a lot into the process of making the zoo. About the Temperate Vivarium, it is sort of a combination of both North American and european temperate regions, but in 2 seperate free flight aviaries.

Paralleling @MOG2012 ’s suggestion above, listed below would be some mammals that could work for your project. I don’t expect that every mammal will be present, but it’s always fun to make a good guess: ;)

the majority of those species are definitely going to be in the areas that you have predicted them to be in. but for now, you will just have to wait and see...

One last thing before I get to work on the zoo itself, here's a look at some of the logos for each of the zones (made in Adobe Express):

Realm of Africa (the logo itself may appear as a sign carved in wood in the actual zoo

Wild Europe

Isle Of the Monsoon Forest ( I changed the name because it sounds way cooler in my opinion - correct me on that if I'm wrong).

The main zoo does not have a logo just yet, as it needs more perfection and is the main logo for the zoo.

let me know what you think of them and the changes to some of the names of the zones

Babirusa / Babyrousa celebensis x toganensis
Correct me if I'm wrong, as I very well might be. But wouldn't it be the Togian Babirusa Babyrousa togeanensis which makes up the other part of the hybrid? Was just curious as searches didn't find me anything regarding a B. toganensis.
