Wildlife in Your City?

Do you mean Beefalo?

Nah they are as close to pure bred Bison as you can get. I am sure like all of the Bison in private hands there are some cattle genes in them but they aren't considered Beefalo. They are raised, bred, and brought to market as Bison. Phenotype they are definitely Bison. I have my bison in a separate pasture (with my donkeys and alpacas) from my Herefords.

Why don't you post some pics of your property, livestock, and pets? It sounds like you live in a cool place. If ever we start a gun thread, I wouldn't mind seeing some pics of your guns too - they are quitelegal, and until such time as they are illegal it's not a big deal I think. ;)

Just saw this little critter in my yard. Beautiful, but scary! Third one I killed today and fifth this week. I posted this just for zooboy. ;)

Update: I killed a couple more red backs yesterday, so much so that I sprayed my garage to kill other spiders. I must have killed about 40, of no less than 10 species. I hope they don't try to seek revenge and kill me in my sleep.

For those not familiar with Australian spiders, we have a spider here called a huntsman that has been responsible for many deaths and injuries over the years, but not from its venom. How is that possible, you ask? Well, it has this nasty habit of finding its way into your car, and only making itself known when you pull down the sun visor at 100km per hour. Out of fright, you lose control of your car and you sometimes pay the ultimate price when you crash. I suspect that the spiders usually walk away unharmed.....

spiders don't look back at explosions

Stop trying to scare zooboy. I wonder how he is coping with the unseasonable 37C heat today? Zooboy, where you at? I did not see you at the airport on Sunday....
I suspect he saw you though.....

so, seriously, did you just turn up at the airport on Sunday and wait all day hoping some dude would walk past wearing a t-shirt saying "Zooboy28" so that you could go up to him and say "how about a lift in my car?"

Well, almost. I was looking for a mid-20s dude walking hand-in-hand with an older man in his late 30s who looked like the comic book store owner from The Simpsons. :D Sadly, they both seemed to elude me.
