Hey everyone out there on zoochat just have one quick ? for ya. Is the Toledo zoo nice in the winter or should i just wait until spring? are alot of animals viewable in winter?thks

For a first time visit we would have to say a spring or summertime visit would be a bit better. You would then be able to see the hippoquarium and newly renovated elephant complex. However if you do decide to venture out for a winter trip there would be plenty for you to do and no crowds to get in your way.Polar Bears,Seals,Wolves,Tigers,Penguins and Snowleopards should all be out. They also have a average aviary and aquarium,a nice reptile house and a pretty good great ape house.Oh by the way the zoos new tiger cubs have just been put on exhibit they can be seen everyday form 10 to 2.
