The zoo have announced that they have welcomed a 9 year old "Indian Leopard", named Mowgli, from a travelling circus in Germany.

I assume from Alex Lacey, now back in Germany from Ringlings in USA. Father Martin Lacey lives down road from Wolds.

Appears my assumption correct, with the Wolds guy going with Kemp to visit Martin and Alex Lacey in Germany.

Really? What happened to Dartmoor's Syrian? The only Syrian brown bear I recall seeing at that.

Are you sure? I was chatting to whom I believe was the owner, and he said they they had come from a zoo in Europe? He may have said Eastern Europe, but that might be my imagination. He definitely did not say that they had come from somewhere in the UK.

I could be wrong though, just what I've heard

Didn’t they go to Wolds from a European zoo via Heythrop?

First little visit there today nice little place, loved the bears loads of work going on going to be some cracking new enclosures in the making glad we went when it opened though as I can see it being quite packed in parts, but for the price not a bad little place x

Wolds appear to now have Kirk's Dik-dik (according to a recent Instagram post).

Visiting the zoo again today having not been for a number of years. Looking forward to seeing the many developments that have taken place, which I will of course share photos of in the gallery.

..For the purposes of being a fairly diverse animal park?

We had a lovely visit today saw the new pumas and tigers still a lot of work going on with some new arrival signs on two enclosures, park nearly done love this place the lions were vocal aswell x didn’t see any dik dik though and me and my daughter love them x

Seen it already and that is really good. I don't go to media galley as much now as I'm busy with other things

yes I see that but although I have stopped going to galleys now and I don't go on there often aswell but it is really good
