Did it say that zoos in or near a zone had to close to general public visitors? We never heard of this last time there was a major outbreak and much publicity about same.Just had a look on defra website and it shows a zone right down to Mablethorpe and includes Louth which is not far from Wolds Wildlife park.
Had the same thought.What's happened ?
They don't have a zoo license only a dangerous wild animal license and with that the can open certain amount of times a year while with a zoo licence it's all year round pretty much

I think the park's Facebook page might have been deleted? I saw the message that Devi posted yesterday evening but went back to view it again a few hours later and couldn't find it. It did have a whiff of one person making a statement then someone else adding to it afterwards to me, maybe that didn't go down well?
Whatever the differences between the two co-owners were, seem to have been sorted out. The park has announced that they will reopen tomorrow at 10am.
