Does anybody know how big (how many acres) the elephant exhibit at WPZ is and how it compares to newer exhibits like the National Zoo and SDZ? Every time I see the elephant exhibit at WPZ it looks rather spacious, but this could be an optical illusion due to the way it is spatially arranged. The New National Zoo exhibit is fantastic! The one at SDZ not so much, given that asian elephants don't live in arid deserts. The exhibit at the Houston Zoo definitely sucks, too. At least the WPZ exhibit gives the impression that it is situated in a "forest" where one would most likely encounter a wild Asian elephant.
